Course Outline
Welcome to 8th Grade Computers.
In this course students will learn the history of computers,
Hardware and Software, Technology in Careers and Education, Working within
a network, Blogs, Wikis, PodCasts, Digital footprints, Online resources,
and Microsoft Office Suite Applications.

* Discuss and work with each technology standard that the state
requires you to learn.

Grading
Students will be assigned and graded on the various
projects they complete. Question of the day and class participation
will be worth 5 points a day. Projects will range in points from 20
to 50 points. Unit test will be worth 50 points. All
assignments and tests will be done on the computer and saved to the Apps
drive or Emailed to the teacher. No wasting PAPER!
