Freshman Year

 

Computer - Covered Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint, Photoshop, Google Sketchup, and other software applications.

Ag - During my Freshman year of Ag I competed in Land judging, Dairy judging, Jr. Parli Pro, and served the Pro Pheasent Banquet.

Art I - Throughout the year in Art I learned about elements of art, how to work with a variety of materials, and the importance of shading.  My favorite project was working with Photoshop.

English I - The focus here is on grammar and vocabulary. The course helps you recognize the different parts of speech. These include direct objects, relative pronouns, transitive verbs, and sentence construction. There are also vocabulary exercises.

Physical Science - This course will provide you with a basic understanding of light, energy and their measurement. It includes the study of the basics of electricity, sound magnetism, radioactivity and physical matter.

Algebra I - This first course of Algebra explores algebraic expressions, equations, basic mathematical properties and linear functions. The program prepares you to work with graphs and finite numbers.
